Mar 15, 2015 路 I also have a 12v outlet behind the glovebox. If you wanted to recharge things like cameras etc then a 12v/USB port on the rear wall of the glovebox could be ideal. It would provide cable storage and keep the consumable out of the public eye. In my last mk3 I also had an OEM 12v outlet on the rear of the centre console.
Jan 29, 2021 路 Just connecting to the car it should try talking to all the modules in the car. On Forscan's first page there is a tab called modules, I think the BT module is listed as the SRM - Speech Recognition Module. If you can't see it on the list then the car can't see it so it's either disconnected, has no power (fuse blown) or the module may be dead
Sep 10, 2012 路 Carefully unclip the heater controls (3 clips) and pull the fascia forward to access the wires behind. Unplug whatever you feel is necessary to easily access the lighter socket and lighting ring. The back of the socket will have a twin connector as in the photo below, the illuminated ring will be one wire (not shown)

Sep 9, 2020 路 I have a 62 mondeo diesel estate with 135k, great car and goes like a dream normally. Couple of weeks ago i had the information (i)light up on the dash. Car was still running good but a couple of days later the orange engine light came on. Phoned the garage and booked it in last Thursday, drove home and the car kept going in and out of limp mode.

Just bought a 58 plate 2009 mondeo which has the green and red buttons on the head unit for the phone. The indicator stalk also has phone controls and a voice button at the end. My problem is there is no option in the menu to turn the bluetooth on or off. The last option in th imfB8rH.
